THE END OF A FOUR YEAR JOURNEY
NARRATIVE: Last Week, The GBNT Group interceded for a family that was at risk of being separated. While processing through the refugee camp in the UAE, the father and three children were granted their US Visas. However, the mother's was being denied for an undetermined time due o a positive TB Test result in Afghanistan. Although she had had three subsequent negative tests, she was going to be separated from her husband and children, for God only knows how long. She would have been left alone in the refugee camp without any kind of male covering. Given the pour living conditions in the camp which is basically a prison for families, she would have undoubtedly been exploited and taken advantage of in the camp. No one leave the camp, unless its to conduct a visa interview at the US Embassy or to leave the UAE with a US Visa in hand.
We wrote the consulate in Dubai and to our surprise, our voice was heard. She was finally granted her US Visa.
THANK THE LORD, we are are happy to report that the entire family has just arrived in California. Their four year journey has finally come to an end.
PRAYER REQUEST: Please continue to pray for our Abandoned Afghan Families who remain. Especially for the wife's sister who is still in Afghanistan waiting for her SIV case to be approved.
