President Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration:
As I am sure most are aware, President Trump has placed a temporary freeze on Refugee, P1, P2, and Special Immigrant Visas. Most of our Abandoned Afghan Partners (AAPs) fall into the SIV and P1 Visa categories. Some of our AAPs, who have been waiting to leave Afghanistan, were suddenly informed by the National Visa Center (NVC) that they would not be leaving Afghanistan, at least for 90 days, due to the new administration’s decision on immigration. We have explained to our AAPs that this is only a temporary freeze and that their cases will continue to move forward in the near future. Most are understandably upset but trust and support President Trump’s decision, because they understand he is focused on getting control of our illegal immigration crisis.
REQUEST: Please pray that God would grant President Trump and Sec State Rubio wisdom regarding the immigration crisis and to allow our AAPs cases to begin moving forward sooner rather than later.
